Meet Jose

Age: 6 years Weight: 35 pounds

Jose's morning routine: kennel door opens and he does one or two happy jumps, followed by toe tappies, a big stretch, and then some sprint laps around his fenced in backyard. On to a delicious breakfast served in his private dining room and, voila, his day is off to a perfect start.

You could say that at six years old Jose is set in his ways, and you might be right. He can be content all by himself looking out the window or he can be in the mood for some play or cuddle time. As with most dogs his age, he needs time to feel at home in new surroundings and to feel comfortable with new people. Clip on his harness and he's ready for a sniffy walk. He'd rather go along for the ride, but he can be left alone out of his kennel with a chew bone to keep him busy.
