Artist, photographer and friend, Audrey Thomas joined us in 2019 to capture portraits of our dogs in the hopes of getting them adopted. Over the last 9 months, Audrey’s photos have captured the pain, the hope, and the excitement in the eyes of our dogs. Through her lens, she has been able to share their stories with our community. These photos have shared a new perspective on our dog’s journey to Wisconsin and through social media, she has been able to connect our rescue with families who are able to learn about the dogs before ever meeting them.
Audrey has dedicated ever Sunday to capturing the behind the scenes look at Lucky 7 transports. Her photos have brought a new light to what transport Sunday is like for our volunteer group. Her commitment and dedication to animals, community, and rescue is evident in her attention to detail and the warmth she brings to ever photograph. Join us in celebrating her work at the Second Chances: Artist Reception. At Green Bay’s own Art Garage on Main St. in Green Bay.
Our rescue has benefited from Audrey’s talents from the very beginning, but this year especially her gift has given us an opportunity to share in a whole new way. We are honored to be able to see her pieces on display and walk back through all that has been 2019.
